“Cheetah Close-Up” is one of two A6-sized original pieces I donated to the DSWF for their art competition. This intimate portrayal focuses on the striking features of the cheetah’s face, capturing the sharpness of its eyes and the distinctive streaks that mark its cheeks.

While small in size, this piece carries the same importance in raising awareness for wildlife conservation as any of my larger works. The cheetah, a symbol of grace and speed, is increasingly endangered due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. This artwork, like the pangolin piece, was created in the spirit of supporting the efforts to protect and conserve our planet’s wildlife.

It serves as a reminder of the cheetah’s beauty and vulnerability, and the critical need for continued conservation work to ensure that this magnificent animal remains a part of the wild landscape for future generations.
