The Cape Buffalo is a feared and dangerous animal. It has no tolerance for possible threats, and camouflages into its surroundings by blending in with the shades of the trees and bushes.

If it stands still, it can be nearly impossible to identify him. If you are unlucky enough to come face to face with him, you won’t notice him until he is a few meters in front of you.

In all the close-encounter stories I’ve heard, its never the size of the horns, or the buffalo that are mentioned. It’s the deep and penetrating glare that is often the last sight they remember. Its eyes are described as intellectual and certain, as if it knows exactly what it is planning to do next.
